Lembah Kiara Park

Lembah Kiara Park

“The park is similar to Hyde Park in London and Central Park in New York City, yet it is uniquely ours. The park will be designed to highlight Malaysia's unique culture.”, is how one would describe Lembah Kiara Park. One of the city's most beautiful parks, Lembah Kiara Park, is located between Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (TTDI) and the KL Golf & Country Club. Families, walkers, and joggers flock to the park because of its proximity to many residential areas.

With a decent vantage point from the summit, you can see both the golf course and downtown from a distance. Visiting this park in the middle of the week ensures that it will be less congested, making it an ideal getaway spot from the bustling metropolis. Running paths, workout stations, children's playgrounds, and picnic areas surround the park's major attraction: a big lake!

Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

Taman Tasik Titiwangsa

A recreational park known as Taman Tasik Titiwangsa can be found in the city's north-eastern outskirts, and the park's most notable feature is a sizable lake. It is a popular gathering place for those who live in the city since it has tennis courts, an exercise area, a playground for children, and other recreational amenities for activities such as jogging and other similar pursuits. The Remote Control (RC) Car track is located in the area, and because it features a driver's platform as well as seating for spectators, it is a favourite destination for RC fans on the weekends.

In addition to its use for leisure and recreational pursuits, Taman Tasik Titiwangsa is a popular place for "outdoor shooting" among Malaysian photographers. This is due to the park's serene and picturesque surroundings, which are set against a backdrop of urban skyscrapers. Call the Department of Landscape and Recreation Development to make a reservation for individuals who are interested in arranging "outdoor" activities such as Family Day activities, filming, and other activities.

Kepong Metropolitan Park

Kepong Metropolitan Park

Kite flying is a popular pastime that takes place on a regular basis at the Kepong Metropolitan Park, which can be found at the northernmost tip of Jinjang. This park is a public facility, and the activity is open to the general public. Visitors to the park will observe a large number of expert kite flyers demonstrating their talents by flying enormous kites, some of which measure up to 30 feet in length. On windy days, and especially on the weekends, it is common to see the sky filled with kites of varying sizes, forms, and patterns, as well as a rainbow of colours.

Other than sitting back and peacefully watching kites flying during your picnic, there are other things you can do as well! Such as:

  • Jogging
  • Exercising
  • Cycling
  • Kids playground
  • Flying kites
  • Walk on the reflexology walkway
  • Enjoy the view from the observation tower
  • Playing football
  • Fishing
  • Water training (requires permission)
